It was Norton. Found that out today.

Well the VHSL Handbook does say the following
That being said if someone wanted to push the issue they would win.....that being said I can understand Chubs NOT wanting to fight that fightQuote:
300-16-5 Spectator Videotaping/Filming? Spectators must receive permission from the tournament
director for any live action taken of athletic events other than snapshots. If permission
is granted for spectators to film the entire event or take clips, it is to be with the understanding
the tape/film may not be sold, leased, borrowed, or rented for commercial purposes. The tournament
manager should not permit spectators to interfere with the view of other spectators or
news media personnel covering the activity, and if there is any question as to the purposes of
filming or taping, the request should be denied by the local tournament management.
One part of this is that the VHSL say's that any Regional, Semi-final or Finals game is there property as they put on the tournament and can't be uploaded or rebroadcast or sold without permission, really means paying them a fee. so any regular season game is ok as long as you have permission.
Remember Ntv had to wait until the following wednesday or something to show themmon channel 37.
The problem you will have is anyone can say they are filming a family member. I have a game film of almost every football game I played that my uncle filmed.
LPD fans your league is dying a slow painful death with the exception of Burton and Clintwood the league has done nothing in football. When the CMD formed the balance of power shifted a little more east. Until the consolidations take place and the new schools are moved to the CMD the power will rest there. It is sad but just a reality of the population shift. For 20 years it was the best in class A but now it is not even the best district in the region
I actually think that after reading about people not paying to go to games, I'd go film it from where they sit and upload it...that way you didn't pay to attend the game and you would be just watching something in 'public'
It's not like the CMD has done anything either. So, I'm not sure how that balance of power has shifted since Clintwood has split games with the either the CMD champion or Region D Div 2 champion (Lebanon) every year for the last 3-4 years with the home team winning every game. Even when the LPD was king, it was basically a 2 team race. If consolidation didn't happen eventually PV would straighten out. There is no team in the Region that anyone's really afraid of. The whole area needs to get better, much better.
Both western Regions are way down! Right now Region B are the kings of football with the exception of Essex winning last year. The Dogwood is the best single a district in the state. Comparing the LPD to the CMD is not a good example. Clintwood has split with Lebanon the last few years and CW is D1 while LHS is D2. All of the teams in the CMD are Division 2 and only two are in the LPD. Next year PV will be the only D2 team left in the LPD. You can not compare an all D2 district to an all D1 district and say the balance of power has shifted. However the CMD is the best D2 district in Region D and the LPD is the best D1 district in Region D.
Chubz, that sucks dude. You are a reporter gathering information for news stories. Or your brother plays for every single local team. I cannot believe one administration, whichever it is, is petty enough to try and make you take down your videos for strategical reasons.
GAME FILM IS SENT EVERY WEEK. How silly is it to try and say that its giving out any advantages when the school sends a full game tape to their opponent every week.
Fight the power Chubz, take it to the underground and fight the man!
